How to Farm for the Magnetron: Tips and Strategies
Successfully farming for the Magnetron involves much more than simply running into areas that are known to spawn it. The unpredictable nature of Arc Raiders means that you'll often have to ARC Raiders BluePrints deal with hostile players, aggressive ARCs, and environmental hazards. To maximize your chances of getting a Magnetron, here are some farming tips:
- Go Solo or Duo:
While playing in a group can be fun, going solo or in a duo increases your control over the situation. You'll have fewer people to compete with for loot, and you can cover more ground. Solo runs allow you to move stealthily, loot efficiently, and extract before you draw too much attention.
- Spawn Near POIs:
Start your run near Points of Interest (POIs) to increase your chances of finding the Magnetron quickly. POIs are marked on the map, and they typically contain high-tier loot or valuable items like ARC Raiders BluePrints. You're more likely to find the Magnetron early in your raid if you begin near a POI.
- Stealth Is Key:
Use silenced weapons like the Equalizer with Energy Clips to take out enemies quietly. The less noise you make, the fewer rivals you'll alert to your position. Quietly breach lockers and cabinets to avoid drawing attention to yourself, especially in high-risk areas.
- Raid During the Night:
Raiding during the night can significantly reduce the number of rival Raiders you encounter. While ARC aggression increases during night raids, player PvP encounters become less frequent. This is an ideal time to focus on looting without the constant fear of ambushes from other Raiders.
- Prioritize Safe Pocket for Instant Secure:
If you manage to find the Magnetron (or any other high-value loot), make sure to prioritize finding a Safe Pocket for instant storage. Secure your items before going back into risky areas or making your extraction.
- Extract Fast Post-Loot:
Once you have your loot, especially the Magnetron, aim to extract quickly. The more time you spend in the map, the higher the chances that other players will catch on to your position. Don't risk losing your precious loot-extraction is key to preserving your haul.
- Loop Runs for Efficient Farming:
Create a consistent loop where you hit the prime farming zones (Workshop, Medical Research, Business Center), loot for Magnetrons, and then extract. Efficient loops will ensure that you maximize your time in-game and minimize the risk of cheap ARCR Items failure.
