The resilient seated design uses an EPDM-coated gate to provide a tight seal when the valve is closed. When fully open, the gate moves clear of the flow path, allowing water to pass smoothly with low pressure loss. We manufacture Cast Iron (CI) and Ductile Iron (DI) resilient seated gate valves in both manual handwheel-operated and motorized electric actuator-operated versions. Rising Stem and Non-Rising Stem options are also available to suit different installation conditions.
